    Donna was born in Parnell, Iowa and moved to California immediately after high school graduation. She was a long-time Monrovia, California resident and active in educational and civic organizations there including PTA, Monrovia Public Library, and the Women’s Club. Donna was instrumental in starting the Monrovia Golden Age Club. She was skilled in sewing, quilting, and needlework. Donna was especially proud to be a member of P.E.O. After retirement from Vons Grocery Company, she traveled internationally and remained an avid bridge player. She had a large owl collection and was a lover of roses. Her amiable manner earned her many friends, and she is dearly missed by her family. Donna was especially close to her two daughters. June 2013
