  • George Olin Wareham was the eldest son of Ayers Wareham and Elizabeth Galloway. He was born on a ranch in Fergus Co., Montana Territory and lived the old west lifestyle until about 10 years old. His family then moved to Kearney, Buffalo County, Nebraska where he attended school. He moved to St. Joseph, Buchanan Co, Missouri and married Georgia "Georgie" Jeffrey on Dec 13, 1913. He attended the School of Practical Electric in Milawakee, Wisconsin in 1918 when he registered for the World War I draft on Sept 9th. His father seccumbed to death from his injuries inflicted from a boiler explosion on Oct 14, 1918. He and Georgie remained in St Joe until about 1925 when they moved to Alhambra,bought the Stewart House at 403 South Garfield and worked for Southern California Edison. He resided there until his death of a heart attack at age 54. He had no children.
